✅ BMDs are standalone devices with no external network connection
✅ Produce a voter-verifiable, human-readable paper ballot
✅ Paper ballots are tabulated on a secure tally system
✅ Election results are verified through post-election manual audits
✅ Paper ballots are stored in a sealed ballot box attachment on BMDs
These design features prioritize election security in Los Angeles County.
